It could seem that texts on websites don’t signify much, it will be enough if we describe our company, our services, etc… NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH!!!





Remember dears, a website must be positioned and website positioning is influenced by many elements, unfortunately, maybe fortunately, texts which are on the website. While writing texts you can’t copy them from other websites in any way. Google doesn’t like such websites too much and often blocks them.

We already know that we don’t copy but how to write texts? Uniquely!!! We must approach the issue as if it is the most important what we want to do with our company. We write texts brainy and using keywords for which we want to position our website. Of course, while writing a text about accommodation in Gdańsk we can’t use 25 times words accommodation Gdańsk in a text which has 500 words because it doesn’t make any sense, such a text is boring, sad and you can see at once that it is written to be positioned. Texts should distinguish us from the crowd, be different and attracting, not dry, not barren.

Instead of writing I have a room for holidays to let for tourists we can write “Incredible, in a Provençal style indeed, a romantic room for a couple for dreamy holidays in one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, we are inviting to smelling with Sun Trójmiasto” isn’t it better?





Of course, yes, keywords in the text have been kept, and it is much better to read such a text. The client thinks at once that if we are describing out flat it must be really exceptional. And we must write exactly in such a way, try to be distinguished because it is the most important. Don’t be banal and it’ll be advantageous in the future; the same situation is with sponsored texts or texts on community portals. If we stand out from the crowd, we can be seen and following this old truth in Copywriting we will be always further than others.

It could seem that buzz marketing is nothing more than only advertising, however, is it to the end and is it a completely legal way of company promotion?

Like yes and no because it actually makes only a pretence, gives the feeling that we buy a good product being guided allegedly by the opinion of people who have just used it. Buzz marketing is not a legal term but only defined by people who create it, that is why it is difficult to define it and subsume under the judicial categories.Buzz marketing starts to be something wrong if we promote companies, products which are untrustworthy and unreliable. Each Agency before accepting the commission should make a reconnaissance in the company, read about it, read clients’ opinions and then begin to advertise, then we know what we actually advertise and it is easier for us to present such a product properly. Moreover, in no way we will expose ourselves to consequences or criticism.

Do you remember actions with Amber Gold and a large Warsaw Agency (I will not mention the name as they will deny anyway) which so beautifully and wonderfully made the PR for them being well in with the owner. I’m sure they knew what they advertised and they lied like a rat. Here we deal with intended action being detrimental to other people. Here we touch legal aspects of liability for such actions. Everyone who exposes any other person to undesirable effects and does it on purpose may expose themselves to legal consequences.



Thus, one should remember that buzz marketing is nothing wrong if it is genuine and truthful, advertised products are tested and the company is checked thoroughly, however, wilful propagation of untruth, in consequence of which a third person may suffer, can result in being brought to criminal and civil liability.
That’s why I ask everybody who deals with this profession to remember that money is not everything, it is something more like ethics and conscience. Don’t sell everything by force because it often rebounds upon you.

Nowadays we live in times when the Internet has dominated all branches of life, maybe almost all, but as we know it is omnipresent and for most of people it is necessary for existence.





As I have written in previous articles, a buzz - as buzz marketing is commonly called - is a great form of advertisement but is it only in the Internet? Of course not! In real life and maybe even much more than in the net marketing it brings us huge profits and it is able to promote us, our company to the upper reaches.



Inmany cases a buzz is actually not a marketing, it is rather propagation of our company product by other people and recommendation of it to others. A good product, as we know, sells itself and it is enough to give a few people more than they expect and they will come back and recommend our product or us to other people.







I will give you a great example how, in a real world, to promote a product well. Supposing that we are owners of a middle-class diner in Gdańsk on the promenade (only middle class as a rule). I often go to the city centre to eat out and I can tell you that restaurateurs know about attracting customers as much as I know about weapons, that is nothing. Wherever I was, it looked like this: average places, average service, and food – oh, it varies. This often leads to the situation that I never go to the same diner for the second time, but about 2 weeks ago I was in a different common, unremarkable diner but at 7:30 p.m.it was crowded!!! and it wasn’t an exact city centre. Interior decoration was middling, food was goodish but everybody said that there was a great atmosphere. You know why??? Because the owner treats everybody like a friend, approached the table, took a seat next to me :) !!! (a great marketing gimmick), asked if it was tasty, if we had any ifs and buts or if we wanted to change anything and at the end he asked the waiter and 2 glasses of wine were served on the house. And it is a peak of the superb marketing, the man knows how to approach a client, each client feels like at home, feels to be important and thinks there is his/her place. It’s the beginning of the buzz marketing which powers itself. I’ve noticed going out of the diner that a couple sitting in front of us already talked “what a place, and free wine, a superb place, we will go here”. Two boys were smoking in front of the diner and talking by the phone “Can’t believe it, the owner came to us, gave a discount card and reduced our bill of costs by 10%, old boy, come here, a great place” and it is the behaviour which we can call purposeful in making buzzmarketing about our product, palce or restaurant !!!



Thisdiner sells itself already and the same we can do with any product, give a client something he/she considers exceptional, different and better, thanks to which we will feel exceptional, appreciated. Then he/she comes back to us and tells the information to 5 other people, each of these 5 people tells to another 5 and in that way we have numerous and a regular group of clients.

HOW MUCH SHOULD RUNNIG A FACEBOOKPAGE COST?




Many of us wonder if to run the company’s FanPage by ourselves or commission this option to a company, Advertising Agency. Well, the answer is not simple but it is not a differential equation either :)

It depends on what we want to achieve and what for Fan Page is run. If it is to be purely and simply 1, 2 entries about our product and we are not willing to gain clients with Facebook, we can do it by ourselves e.g. watching a Saturday film sitting in front of the TV.



Butif Facebook is to be a tool supporting the sale, attracting clients, I would advise you to commission it to a professional. What professional? How to choose the agency? It is not a simple question; the best by recommendation, thanks to opinions in the net; read, do not choose headfirst, ask about a few examples of Facebooks being run.

And here the question occurs how much we have to pay for it; it’s not simple to answer this questions, everything depends on how much the Agency will be engaged in the work on our Facebook. Everybody thinks, but mind you, on Allegro Facebook can be bought for even 60 PLN per month of course, it is possible but let’s wonder how much work somebody will devote to Facebook for 60 PLN. Maximum 3 hours permonth. That’s why we have to realize that a good product costs, like for good shoes we pay 500 PLN and we make use of them, and the same is with Facebook, we have to pay more for it.





Supposing that in the Advertising Agency a person should work 2 hours on our Facebook every day so that it makes sense and brings an expected effect, that is clients, so 2 hours a day x 20 days in a month gives us 40 hours. 40 working hours x even 15 PLN (minimum hourly rate in advertising agencies) we have a simple calculation :) So we can’t expect that someone will make a suitable basis, graphics, unique entries, that he/she will link us our profile and entries will be placed on forums at the cost of 60 PLN !!!

T   he answer is obvious but purely and simply if a marketing campaign is well and professionally written it can be successful. It results from the research that we use these services and buy these products which are recommended by our friends, as much as 90% of respondents clams that recommending a product by a friend encourages a lot to buy a given product. It isn’t worse with Internet users who are trusted by as much as 70% of respondents.


Maybe buzz marketing is nothing very praiseworthy which a company should characterize itself with but it is effective; and what counts apart from connections? Of course money. So why not trying it? Of course we recommend it to everyone, however, be careful, choose only these Advertising Agencies which are checked and which have numerous references. You should ask about exemplary entries and see if this entry does not look e.g. like “superbcompany, I recommend, see www….” – this entry is tragic and can have disastrous effects. Internet users at once will feel a crypto-advertising. You should join the conversation on forums not write dry texts, be among people, be present on forums and then add entries.




I don’t think that marketing for 50-100 entries has a greater sense so that the company is noticeable and one could really feel benefits, minimum we should give is 70-100 entries on forums per month. Is it abig expense? Maybe yes, ranging from 200-300 PLN but entries remain and you pay for them not like for positioning. Moreover, a good entry with a link to a website placed on a good forum with PR 5-6 gives a lot of advantages.



In a word, to sum up, let’s invest in buzz marketing but only in a good advertising agencies or carry it out by ourselves if we have time but purely and simply run it on all cylinders.

The most important rule in buzz marketing is not to advertise products which haven’t been tested, known or dealt with, why? – the answeris simple.





Inbuzz marketing we enter some society’s life on Internet forums so we become its part and we have a few privileges like sharing our opinions with other users of forums, expressing thoughts, praises or negating some content or product. We have currently free market and everybody can say what they want, where they want and when they like it. However, on these forums we have obligations but not little ones, we have to be their parts and exist there, so it means that we should register there, read new threads, check if there are answers in our posts. And why should we know the product? To be able to answer the questions on Internet forums, and it is very easy to check, forum users know at once after a simple question if it is really you who dealt with a given product; one question is enough e.g. “what paint is used for this, does it have ISO 9002 certificate? And the layman from a pseudo advertising agency will be recognized at once and there are hundreds of such agencies in Poland.



Thefirst step where we are to recommend the service is to learn about it, don’t neglect this subject because it is the most important, not important, but the most important. If we are to advertise under eye cream, ask the client to send you a sample, if it is a dental clinic go there and see how it looks like, talk to patients, learn what is badly organized, where it can be improved; the real buzz marketing looks like just that, where at first we must get to know the market and ask about it, and then enter forums with a given product or service.



Recently, I have experienced such a situation: I was at my friend’s in Gdynia in the advertising agency, I’ll tell you that their upmarket clients, as e.g. known mobile phone network, as well as the building and the company surrounding give an impression but this, what they have done, brought me on my knees. A client called to ask about campaign for an insurance company. After just 10 minutes the campaign was accepted. That surprised me. For the campaign where they were to make 500 entries on Internet forums, they took over 3 thousands zlotys (PLN). The exaggerated stake, frankly speaking, but it is not the most important. One hour later the campaign was started and, to my horror, without any knowledge about the company, about products, etc. For God’s sake, dear marketing colleagues, you mustn’t do like that, it’s not the done thing, check the company so that you know at least if it is worth attention in order not to mislead clients.

Remember, buzz marketing is not to be something wrong, just the opposite, it is to be a reliable source of information about a company on forums/ blogs, etc., where it is not possible to get with other form of advertisement.

Everybody knows Instagram, however, most of us associates it purely and simply with 15-year-olds who upload their photos, not always suitable ones in the network but nothing further from the truth. Instagram can and even should be another communication channel with clients; please do not neglect this community because it is a strong group of receivers who love their web portal above all:)





1. Additional way of communication with a client – people are mostly visual, so give them what they want to look at ,colourful photos of dishes!

2. A source of advertisement – common saying says that we also have our eyes bigger than our stomachs, so give your potential client a possibility of trying dishes in your Instagram.! The chance for this that looking at a photo of another delicious sandwich on your Instagram channel he/she will drop in on your premises is increasing.

3.Informal communication – Instagram, even if it is used for business, provokes to give messages in more informal and casual form so you are approaching your client.

4. Symmetric relations between users – in the face of Instagram we are all equal: Your clients are guests on your Instagram channel and you can be a guest on their ones.

5.You do not have to place only photos of food - you can let yourself give more ease and present life of your company, employees, everyday situations. It will present to your clients a human side of your business.

6.The application is free so it doesn’t charge the budget even of the most thrifty entrepreneurs. Moreover, you can use it offline – of course it is impossible to place a photo on a company channel on Instagram but its editing and recording in the phone memory – it is, indeed.

Facebook has still greater access to a potential client than any other visual channel (maybe except YouTube) and taking into consideration the fact that fanpage on Facebook is also the only Internet showcase of the company, the subject is not to be overestimated.
